The Home Mode feature allows for safe and accurate monitoring and trending while at home, and this pulse ox machine has RadNet and RadLink interface capability for multi-patient remote monitoring. In addition to the SIQ bar, FastSat, Alarm Status Indicator and PI found on the Rad-5 Oximeter, the Rad-8 is equipped with Adaptive Probe Off Detection, which offers the best probe off detection of Masimo's three sensitivity modes. Sensor must be purchased separately.
Additional features such as a 2-second averaging in sleep mode, 72 hours of trending memory, and nurse call interface make this machine one of the best blood oxygen meters on the market.
